Greetings
You have caught my attention. Pirates always need an authority to rebel against, and I might be interested in fulfilling that roll. I have a few questions first, though.
How will ship battles be handled? Is there an administrator or mod who understands how ships fight, react, and what armament they carry and who would oversee those kinds of things?
Are the "authorities" always to be considered "the bad guys?"

Hey and welcome to the site. I'm hoping that we can be of assistance, however I am not sure how this runs. We have played several years and know how to work a ship and how they do fight, for Brooke and myself have played POTC characters for several years now. However, I will have to direct this question to her so she can give you further information. I just was letting you know I have seen this and will suggest to her your thread so she can further assist you in your question. Thank you for being here and your question - Cptn Jack Sparrow

Hello there As Jack has mentioned above, both of us have been active with potc rpgs for several years now and do have an understanding on how a battle on the sea should happen (i.e. what you have mentioned above) also, the authorities aren't necessarily the bad guys. It really depends on how you want to portray your character. Only to pirates will the "authority" been seen as the bad guys for the most part. Save a few here and there. But no, the bad guys can just about be anyone and perhaps they aren't bad guys so much as there are enemies? or simply people who strongly disagree with what others think (etc...) does this help?
